Versafine ink is an exception among pigment inks. The stamp pad is made of sturdy felt that has been coated with a fabric layer, rather than a sponge-like fabric. Since this oil-based ink was made, the ink pad was adjusted thereon. Versafine ink is great for stamping fine details on matte, unprocessed paper. It dries very fast. This ink does not leak if it is stained with markers or if watercolor techniques are used. Due to its unique composition, this ink lasts 3-5 times longer than the ink of other ink pads. For this reason, no refill bottles are needed. The Fliptop lid can be folded under the ink pad.
