TIPS! Various techniques: cards with stencils
At the bottom you will find different articles on the tips and tricks
-------------------------------------------------- -------
Tip: punch only one part with punching templates
Stamping the Half: You do not always have to punch out everything at once, sometimes only a part of the punch is sufficient to achieve an interesting effect.
(Trick: cover a part of the cutting surface from the punching template through thicker cardboard or with a cut part of the pre-mat, thus not cutting the desired part of the cutting punch.)
You need:
-
Punching and embossing machine
-
A text or letter punch
-
A circle or label punch
-
Ruler, pencil and eraser
-
cutter
-------------------------------------------------- -------
First draw a horizontal pencil on the center of the map:

Then place the text-punch on the paper, slightly overlapping the line. Attach the punch with painter's crepe, so that nothing slips:

Now comes the trick in the matter: put the paper with the punch only to the line on the punch plate in the machine, no further:
-------------------------------------------------- -------
Crawl once. Admittedly, 95% of the punch is punched and not only half as stated in the Technique name ;-)
-------------------------------------------------- -------
Now the circle punch comes into play: once around the word lay and fix:
-------------------------------------------------- -------
... and also here only to the line on the cutting plate, the rest hangs down below under:
-------------------------------------------------- -------
After punching, the motif must still be released. Cut along the pencil line so that the word still stands, but the semicircle falls out (see dashed line):
-------------------------------------------------- -------
So that a "window" is created:

For the finished card is a great background with Smooch spray gold and Sunset Orange sprayed on watercolor paper and this past the "window" glued, as well as still a saying stamped.
